Whew! We got home last night after another great Anime Banzai, relieved to be finished. Trena and Johny finished the take home essays that were due in class this morning and once that was finished, we felt a definite sense of relief. Then we began to plan for next year! We already had the upcoming cosplays decided, so without further ado, we'll post up what we're planning.
Casual Costume: Fullmetal Alchemist
Trena: Hawkeye
Johny: Mustang
Michelle: Edward Elric
Braiden: Greed
Felicia: Winry
Shiki and her brother may be joining us in this as well, but we're not positive, so we're not going to list them for this just yet.
Official Costume for 2012: Final Fantasy X
We have big plans for this one! We're going to try out a good number of things we haven't in the past, though that's nothing new. Johny and Trena are never really content to stick to one method when there are so many out there that could work better in some situations. We plan on playing with large scale resin molding and casting, led lighting, bodysuits, maybe even remote control servos and more! Johny and Trena are both excited and apprehensive to begin playing with all these things. As it is, Johny didn't finish half of what he wanted for this past year, his 6' sword and full plate armor taking entirely too much of his time. However, we have determined to start early this time around so we're working on only the tiniest details come the last few weeks before con!
Trena: Yuna
Johny: Tidus
Michelle: Lulu
Braiden: Auron
Felicia: Rikku
Shiki: Shiva
Shiki's Brother: Wakka or Jecht (We're not sure, and honestly, he's probably not either. He's kind of a wishy washy putz, but we lob him!)
As far as this year, expect to see more pictures from the con once we get all our cameras conglomerated and once Johny gets Photoshop back on his computer. Also, we hope to have more production photos up as the year progresses, as compared to last year. That's another failing we know we've got to work hard on. Anyhow, thanks to those reading and good luck to all the other cosplayers out there!
